Wood Polymer Composite
Wood Polymer Composite cores are usually a thicker core and it’s a lighter plank. It does however dent very easily when something heavy sits on it or if something heavy drops on it. Also, the core is susceptible to mold growing in the core in high humidity areas.
Stone Polymer Composite
Stone Polymer Composite cores are much denser than Wood Polymer Composite cores and are much heavier. They won’t dent and are 100% waterproof. Even having your plank sit in water won’t damage the plank.
